Sentscore Report: Crypto Sentiment Score Grows Significantly3
For the second week in a row, the crypto market is experiencing a gradual improvement of the Sentiment Score. In comparison to the previous week Sentscore of 4.41 with this Monday’s 4.89; the ten leading coins by market cap seem to be following an upward path.
From a swing low of the negative zone, there is only one coin within the red zone. Tether (USDT) remains on the verge of a break down compared to last week’s seven endangered coins.
The data was analyzed by Omenics, a leading crypto market sentiment analytics team. Meanwhile, it caught us by surprise that last week’s best performer (Tether), is this week’s loser.
Bitcoin Cash (BCH) Sentscore
Bitcoin Cash, which had a poor Sentscore last week, currently sits at the top. In the meantime, there are no coins within the negative range. Five sit within the neutral range of 4.3 - 4.7/10 and another 5 - 5.6 range. Bitcoin recorded the highest Sentscore, with an improvement of 0.4.
The two best performers in the weekly Sentscores are BCH (17.1%) and XRP (21.4%). XRP recorded two high scores in news and technicals at 6.3 and 5.7 respectively. On the other hand, Bitcoin Cash performed a 6.5 and 5 in news and social respectively. The buzz score for either XRP and BCH are 3.5 and 2.8 respectively.
Tether(USDT) is the Worst Performer
Tether (USDT) dropped its Sentscore by 10.7% despite being the last week’s winner. The coin hit an overall score of 4.7 and an average score of 5.1.
Furthermore, the coin hit 5.3 both for social and technicals. On the other hand, buzz and news got 4.9 and 4.8 respectively. Tether’s lowest score was a 3.4/10 in fundamentals.
Cardano(ADA) Toppled out of the Top Ten
Once a coin topples out of the top ten list, it's easy to dismiss it as a loser. For instance Cardano (ADA) was pushed to the eleventh position and got replaced by Tron (TRX). Despite having risen from 4.2 last week to this week’s 4.6 by a whole 10.2%; Cardano was not able to beat Tron’s improvement by 11.5%.
Cardano recorded its highest score in news, which was a 6.3. The lowest was a 3.7 in fundamentals. The 2 out of 39 coins currently tracked by the Sentscore analytics were in the negative zone on Monday. These two were Komodo (KMD) and Holo (HOT).
